Michelle Larsen believes real estate is about the relationship. An award winning real estate broker who works in the co-op, condominium and townhouse markets throughout Manhattan, Michelle's focus and dedication to her clients’ success is the end game. Before beginning her career in real estate, Michelle enjoyed a successful career as an advertising publishing executive. She was employed at NASA Tech Briefs as the Advertising Manager and then at Scientific American Magazine as the Director of New Business Development. Michelle has lived in Italy and England and traveled extensively, enhancing her global knowledge of buyers and sellers. Michelle’s solid relationships with top real estate attorneys, managing agents, co-op board members and fellow brokers uniquely arm her to obtain optimal results for her clients. Her background in publishing set the stage for her transition to real estate and to becoming a Top 1.5% "America's Best" agent nationwide.
Michelle attended SUNY New Paltz, Universita´ degli Studi di Urbino, and Columbia University. A New York City resident for forty years, Michelle lives on the Upper East Side with her husband. Her children attended the Chapin and Buckley Schools, Packer Collegiate Institute, Occidental College and Princeton University. Her interests include art history and painting, travel, skiing, and her family.
In addition to her work, Michelle is committed to supporting a number of city-based charitable institutions including Northwell/Lenox Hill Hospital where
she serves on the Auxiliary Board, and is a member of the New-York Historical Society, the New York Landmarks Conservancy, and Carnegie Hill Neighbors. Michelle also serves on the Board of Trustees of The National Institute of Social Sciences.
